Trust center ยท Early access
This notice explains what SeatSavvy collects, why we use it, how long it stays with us, and how to ask for access or deletion. SeatSavvy is an early-access premium-fare watchlist, not an airline, travel agency, or ticket seller.

This notice applies to flyseatsavvy.com, the SeatSavvy web app, early-access watchlists, planned email alerts, and related service communications. Matching and alert delivery are not operating today. SeatSavvy is the service responsible for the processing described here. Privacy requests are handled at apps@brainystack.co.

When a signed-in watchlist submission reaches the SeatSavvy API, the early-access backend stores the departure, destination or region, cabin, budget, email preference, signed-in email or optional email override, and optional travel notes. If the API is unavailable, the browser keeps only the sanitized local summary described below. Neither path activates matching or delivery.
We may record page and landing views, tab changes, watchlist save activity, deal clicks, booking redirects, paths, referrers, timestamps, browser or device information, and pseudonymous browser and session IDs.
Email is the only delivery preference currently collected for the planned alert service. WhatsApp, Google Chat, and web push are not active, and the current user flow does not create subscriptions for those channels.
The app may ask an external IP-location service for an approximate location so it can suggest a departure airport. SeatSavvy does not request precise GPS location, and you can always choose an airport manually.
When you open a partner link, we may attach a click ID, deal ID, route, campaign tags, and similar attribution data. The partner then processes your visit under its own privacy notice.
We retain the email associated with a submitted watchlist as a preference for future email alerts; no alert email is currently sent. We will not use it for unrelated marketing where applicable law requires a separate choice or consent.
SeatSavvy uses local storage and session storage for pseudonymous analytics identifiers, session continuity, and a sanitized watchlist summary. That local summary is limited to fields such as an internal ID, route, cabin, budget, email preference, creation time, and offline status. It does not contain the contact email, travel notes, or a webhook. The authentication provider may use cookies or similar technology needed for sign-in. The current early-access site does not use third-party advertising cookies. Browser storage remains until the app or you remove it, or you clear the site's data in your browser.
Google Firebase and Google Cloud support authentication, hosting, APIs, data storage, security, and operational logging.
Alert matching and email delivery are not operating today, so SeatSavvy does not currently send watchlist information to a notification provider for delivery. This notice will be updated when a production email provider is activated.
Clicking a partner link sends you to that provider and may share attribution parameters. We do not send your watchlist contact detail to a booking partner merely because you view a deal.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell watchlist contact details as a standalone list.
You may request deletion at any time. We will remove or de-identify information that we no longer need, subject to legal, security, backup, fraud-prevention, and accounting requirements.
Email apps@brainystack.co from the address associated with your account and describe the request. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
We use access controls, authenticated APIs, transport encryption, and restricted administrative access. No online service can promise absolute security.
Service providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. We apply protections required by applicable law for those transfers.
SeatSavvy is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly ask them to create watchlists. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information.
We may update this notice as early-access features, providers, or legal requirements change. The date above will show the latest revision. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to apps@brainystack.co.
